My name is Ilya Schiller. I am a photographer and an educator. I love to teach photography as art.
I learned photography in college and never left my camera since. My major passions are street photography and wildlife. I try to travel as much as I can on this globe to search for beauty, color, composition and emotions. I strive for that special moment to capture the shot that tells the story of people's life or creature's life.
My work has been published and recognized. I’m honored to have received numerous awards, including from the Photographic Society of America.

Teaching photography is something I truly love. Whether you're just getting started or looking to refine your craft, I offer personalized lessons to help you grow as a photographer:
• Getting to Know Your Camera, Lenses, and Gear
• Understanding Exposure, Light, and Histograms
• Composition: The Rules & How to Break Them Creatively
• Telling Stories Through Your Images
• Subjects You Love: Portraits, Travel, Nature, or Others
• Editing & Post-Processing Techniques
• Thoughtful Critique of Your Work
• Developing Your Personal Project (including Photobooks)
If you're looking to deepen your skills, explore your creative voice, and enjoy the journey — let’s work together to capture the world through your lens. Send me email: IlyaTheGreat at outlook.com
